Dinner at Alaa Kassim Ikan Bakar In Malacca..

SeafOod Lover

With its proximity to the sea, fishing has always been a respected profession in Malacca. To this day the local community continues to fish the rich waters off the coast and this is one of the reason seafood is plentiful and cheap in Malacca. For a taste of fresh seafood and ikan bakar, check out at "Alaa..Kassim..Ikan Bakar".

Zam & Melz

Ekin & Angah

Me & Kimura

Nasi Lemak is a must to eat along with Ikan Bakar.
You will be served with a special spicy sauce to dip it with the grilled seafood.
Together with the special sauce, a tray loaded with steaming hot nasi lemak is put on the table at your expense. Each packet is priced at RM0.50-RM0.60, if not mistaken.. It is not those super fragrant kind of nasi lemak, just good enough to gobble down together with your seafood.

Fresh Coconut..No ice & Sugar added

Boiled Fresh Cockles Served with their specially made sauce,
using onions, soy sauce, lime and etc..
As much as I love eating cockles, it is not really advisable as I heard you can get hepatitis "A" from it. Not as bad as contracting Mesothelioma but bad enough. So beware!

"Jenahak 3 Rasa"

Black Pepper Crab

Hot & Spicy Crab

Deep Fried Squid

There are many styles for you to choose from, goreng tepung, goreng sambal, masak kunyit dan cili padi, bakar, bakar sambal, sweet and sour, steamed and etc.. You can mix and match for all the dishes, but I reckon the Squids should be Deep Fried. Only that way, you can taste the natural taste of a fresh Squids.
